Allenne Dy, born Allew Dykenne Parina Hilario on May 31, 2007, in San Jose de Buenavista, Antique, Philippines, is a Filipino singer-songwriter. She is known for her heartfelt and relatable music, blending elements of pop, rock, indie, and singer-songwriter styles. Since beginning her music career in 2024, she has independently released multiple projects and gained recognition for her emotional songwriting and versatile instrumentals.Allenne was raised in Patnongon, Antique, before moving to Quezon City, Metro Manila. She is the eldest child of Kennedy and Wella Hilario and has five younger brothers. Her name is a combination of her parents' reversed names. She grew up in a religious household as a member of the Church of Christ (INC).Originally aspiring to be a doctor, Allenne later pursued music while also developing an interest in volleyball, which she started playing in fifth grade. She attended Asia's School of Arts and Sciences and New Era University for preschool and grade school, followed by New Era High School for junior high. She is currently studying at FEU Diliman, enrolled in the STEM (Health Allied) strand.Allenne Dy began her music career in 2024, writing and recording songs independently. She plays both the guitar and drums, showcasing her versatility as a musician.Her first major release was her debut EP, Between The Lines, in November 2024.
